Your Business Continuity Plan is a customized business recovery plan that builds on your Technology Recovery Plan to insure that you have all the necessary information in place to recover and continue critical business functions should a disaster occur. You may have legal and regulatory liability without a current Business Continuity Plan.

In the post-9/11 era, no business should be without a businesses continuity plan. As we have seen previously, the three elements to a successful business recovery are the retrieval of off-site data, the timely recovery of key information systems and then the ability to continue your business at an alternate location.

The purpose of a Business Continuity Plan is to provide for the continuation of critical business functions in the event of a disaster. The goal of Recovery Planning is to develop the ability to quickly restore service for critical business functions when there is a serious failure or disruption of regular operations.

eDigital Vault offers a variety of services to help protect your company. These range from developing and maintaining your plan to training your staff to develop the plan themselves. Our services range from attractively priced, fixed cost solutions for the small business to customized programs for large corporations.

Our Small Business Program (eSBP) is based upon the Institute for Business and Home Safety (IBHS) Open for Business^sm Tool Kit. IBHS is a nonprofit initiative of the insurance industry to reduce deaths, injuries, property damage, economic losses and human suffering caused by disaster. This program, developed specifically for small businesses was funded by a grant from the Public Entity Risk Institute (PERI).

eDigital Vault will complete the plan for you at a pre-determined fixed price or you can have a member of your staff attend our one day eSBP Training Program where they will learn how to quickly do the work themselves. At the completion of training, each attendee is provided a copy of the Open for Business sm Tool Kit We are always available to review your plan at its completion should you desire.

For our larger more traditional clients we offer a complete business continuity package (eBCP). Options range from an eDigital Vault consultant handling the entire project at your site to training your staff to complete the project themselves. We utilize the Phoenix Business Continuity Planning System from Binomial International to insure that we deliver an effective and efficient plan to our clients. Additionally, we are an authorized reseller of the Phoenix Planning Software for those customers who would like to develop and/or maintain their own plans.
